  Luther "Luke" Harrell Stafford, 79, of Unionville, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2013, at his residence. He was born on August 23, 1934 in Louisiana. Luke was a retired MSGT. in the United States Airforce and a member of Rhoadesville Baptist Church, Rhoadesville, Virginia. Luke is survived by his wife, Beverley Joy Stafford; four sons, Darrell Stafford and wife, Carla, David Dove and wife, Debra, Eddie Dove and wife, Debbie, and Donnie Stafford and wife, Audrey; as well as two daughters, Karen Dove and Trish King and husband, Frank. Survivors also include a sister, Brenda Pettermann and husband, Charles, brother-in-law, Claude Bush and wife, Sue, sister-in-law, Patsy Stafford; and 19 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren. Luke was preceded in death by one son, Davey Stafford, two brothers and three sisters.
