Ouida Stafford Anthaume, age 82, passed away peacefully in her home at Magnolia Gardens Living Center in Bogalusa on Monday, Dec. 15 at 3:10 p.m. She was an active member of Temple Baptist Church and was a retired ICU nurse at Bogalusa Medical Center.
She is survived by one daughter, Paula (Gary) Parker; two sons, Richard Larue Williams and Michael Craig Raybon; nine grandchildren: Robyn (Joseph) Willis, Christopher Chad Parker, Belinda (Virgil) Seals, Donna Gayle Wallace, Dewayne (Lisa) Moore Jr., Marty Raybon, Michelle Raybon, Tammy Raybon and Joshua Raybon; nine great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her two sisters, Evelyn "Bordie" Scroggs and Gladys (Homer) Adams; a brother, William Lavell (Geri) Stafford; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Kenneth Larue Williams and Eugene Anthaume; two daughters, Audrey Moore Stone and Rebecca Dianne Lang; a granddaughter, Christina Danielle Lang; a great-grandson, Stanley Dewayne Spoon Jr.; a sister, Zellie Bridges; and her parents, Hezzie and Bertha Stafford .
Visitation will be at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home today from 9:30 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
