Ralph Stafford, Jr., 86, formerly of Richmond and Danville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 10, 2012. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shelia Boyles Stafford and his second wife, Patricia Mabe Stafford and two brothers, Kelly and Charles Stafford. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Barry S. and Betsy M. Stafford and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Ralph served in the U. S. Navy during WWII and was a retired salesman with Jones/Moore Cadillac. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rte. 10) with his funeral service to begin at 11 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Hickory Hill Activity Club, 900 Cary Shop Road, Burkeville, VA 23922.
