Obituary for Donna Marie Stafford
Donna Marie Stafford, age 70, of Albia, entered into eternal rest Sunday, January 1, 2017, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.
Donna was born on April 20, 1946, in Eldon, IA, to Ralph and Jennie Myers. She was united in marriage to Richard Stafford on August 26, 1964 in Germany. With this union, they created three beautiful girls, Tina, Sandra, and Mary. Donna and Richard shared 36 years of marriage prior to his passing on November 17, 2000.
Donna retired from Hawkeye Molding in 2001, after many years of service. Her main focus was always her family and she received great joy from her loving daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Donna is survived by her 3 daughters, Tina (Clyde) Stafford-Williams, Sandra (John) Stafford-Endonino, and Mary (Chris) Stafford-McIntyre; 10 grandchildren, William (Jamie) Hagmeier, Jonathan (Amber) Olson, Cindy (Cody) Stafford, George Berends, Richard (Paula) Berends, Jamie (Jake) Snyder, Chelea Endonino, Amanda Lewis, Lacy (Garret) Crosby, and Ashley (Tyler) Bonnett; 19 great-grandchildren; 5 siblings, Ronnie (Gini) Myers, Becky (Jim) Klien, Joyce Myers, Ted (Peg) Myers, and John Myers. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her loving extended Stafford family.
Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her parents, Ralph and Jennie; a brother, Bud Gladson; and a sister, Francis Crumb.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 6, 2017, at the Tharp Funeral Home in Albia, with Pastor Mark Brandt officiating. Burial will follow services at Eslinger Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2017, at Tharp Funeral Home in Albia, with Donna’s family present from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. to greet friends and family.
