She was a sweet and loving Grandmother with a gentle soul.
She was dearly fond of Peanut Butter and Popcorn.
She played a great game of checkers.
Her request was to be buried on the right side of her husband. Her grave was first dug to his left and had to be redug to his right. And so she was buried by his right side.
She had Typhoid Fever, while living in Taylorsville, NC when she was about 11 years of age.
She had Juvenile Diabetes, sometimes called Type 1 Diabetes and had to use injectable insulin through-out her life and had to control types of foods she ate.
