  Jean Stafford Persinger, 83, of Raleigh, formerly of Belmont, was a daughter to the late Torrence and Edith Reid Stafford. She was also predeceased by her husband, Grover "Bucky" Cleveland Persinger, Jr. Jean was a lifelong member of South Point United Methodist Church where she formerly sang in the choir. She was an animal lover and enjoyed music and gardening. Interment in Gaston Memorial Park. McLean Funeral Directors of Belmont is serving the Persinger family.
