  Mary Frances Hart, age 84, of Harts Place, Lenoir, died Monday, September 5, 2011 at the residence. She was born December 1, 1926 in Caldwell County to the late Seth and Hester Sigmon Stafford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray M. Hart; two brothers, Charles Stafford and Winford Stafford; and one sister, Inez Spencer. Mrs. Hart was a homemaker and farmer. She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she served as treasurer for several years. She was a devoted mother and wife who helped run the family farm with her husband for close to 60 years. Survivors include two sons, Timothy L. Hart of the home and Stephen E. Hart and wife Louise of Alexandria, Virginia; and one sister, Louise Stafford Taylor of Lenoir. She was also the proud grandmother of three grandchildren, Amanda Hart, Marshall Hart and Cecily Hart. Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery conducted by Dr. Charles Dickson.
