She was a native of Union County, daughter of the late William Lee and Mary Delina Stillwell Horton, wife of the late Fred B. Stafford, one of six charter members of Catawba Heights Baptist Church, retired self-employed seamstress.  SURVIVORS: Daughter, Patsy S. Edwards, Belmont; sister, Kathleen Smith, Mount Holly; grandchildren, Gregory Scott Edwards, Bessemer City, Kim E. Wyatt, Charlotte, Jan. E.
