  James died at 4:10 pm yesterday (24 JAN 1954) afternoon in Mercy Hospital of Charlotte, NC He had been ill three days. He was assistant agent for the Texas Oil Company. The son of the late Avery and Harriett Elizabeth Frye Stafford. Funeral services will be held at McEwen West Chapel. Rev. Frank Moore of the Oakhurst Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Sharon Memorial Park (per obituary and death certificate).
