  Elbert Stafford, 83, of Pilgrim Church Road, went home to be with Jesus Christ his Savior, Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at his home after a courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Reformed Church Cemetery by the Rev. Jamie Kent. Burial will follow. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Davidson Funeral Home. Bo was born in Davidson County to John R. Stafford and Lucy B. Stafford. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a retired supervisor with Burlington Industries, Denton plant. As a member of Pilgrim Reformed Church, he served as an elder, deacon and teacher. Bo taught the Tuesday night Bible study, as well as, the Women's Ida Conrad Class. Preceding him in death are his parents; sisters Louise S. Berrier, Inez S. Hege and Teanie S. Herring; and brother Johnny R. Stafford. Surviving are his beloved wife of 61 years, Sylvia Stafford; his son, Greg Stafford and wife Patricia; twin brother Albert Stafford and wife Elaine; special nephew Lee Berrier and wife Mary; two other nephews and five nieces.
