High Point - Gary Arnold Stafford, 44, of R. 5, father of Terry Ray Stafford of Lexington, died Sunday at High Point Memorial Hospital, after a heart attack.
The funeral will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday at Allendale Baptist Church. Burial will be in Floral Garden Park cemetery.
Mr. Stafford was born in Hickory in 1936 and was employed with Influential and Amos Hosiery Mills. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Thomasville.
Also surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mildren Ann Howard Stafford of the home; another son, Colen Gary (Buddie) Stafford of High Point; two daughters, Larri Jane Stafford and Michaele Ann Stafford, both of the home; his parents, Ray E. and Viola Arney Stafford of High Point; a brother, Thomas Eugene Stafford of Denton, and four sisters, Mrs. Betty Shackleford, Mrs. Judy Bare and Mrs. Linda Overcash all of High Point and Mrs. Nancy Lyda of Knoxville, Tenn.
