Yvetta Wilson Stafford, 74, went home to be with her Lord January 28, 2016.
A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held from 6-8PM Monday evening February 1, 2016 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel.
A native of Grayson County, Virginia, Yvetta was the daughter of the late Vada Roberts Wilson and Kemper Coy Wilson, Sr. In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Edward Stafford, son James David Stafford, and sister Darlee Haymon. She was a member of Kerwin Baptist Church, and was a former member of First Christian Church where she operated the Cafeteria for a number of years. She also had worked at Countryside Lanes in the Snack Bar.
Survivors include her daughters Rhonda Cox and Greg of Kernersville, Kati Howerton and Donald of Stokesdale, and Pedie Glover of Kernersville; son Gregory Stafford and Christy of Lenoir; daughter-in-law Deboraha Stafford of High Point; grandchildren Donald Ray Howerton, III and Brittany, Quinton Glover and Ashley, and Tiffany Hiott and Austin; great-grandchildren Donald Ray Howerton, IV, Chloe Glover, Justin Lemons, Abby-Gayle Lemons, Joseph Lemons, and Abigail Hiott; brother Kemper Coy Wilson, Jr. and Barbara of Winston-Salem; niece Alicia Wilson; nephew Jeffrey Wilson; and a host of extended family and friends.
