  Obituary: Mr. Richard Edward Stafford, 80, of Ridgehaven Dr., passed away on February 23, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born on October 20, 1932 in Forsyth County to Haden and Elizabeth Thompson Stafford.  Mr. Stafford was a member of Becks Baptist Church. He retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. with 30 plus years of service and was a Master Mason with the Old Town Lodge. He enjoyed playing golf, surf fishing, camping and spending time with his grandkids.  Mr. Stafford was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Rheta Stafford.  Surviving are his daughter, Dawn Stafford of Clemmons; a son, Dickie Stafford and wife Debbie of Winston-Salem; two grandkids, Justin and Carlie Stafford; a sister, Carolyn Stafford Blackburn and husband Winfred of Staunton, VA; a brother, Wayne Stafford and wife Faye of Rural Hall; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Monday, February 25, 2013 at Forsyth Memorial Park. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 pm at Becks Baptist Church with Dr. Karl Minor officiating.  The family wishes to express a special thanks to Dr. Patricia Zekan and the chemo nurses at Winston-Salem Health Care.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Becks Baptist Church, 5505 Becks Church Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27106.
