JAMESTOWN — Kristal Joyce Stafford Vaughn, 37, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 4, 2008.
A celebration of her life will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, September 8, at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel. Interment will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.
Kristal was born on March 10, 1971, the daughter of Glenn and Glenda Amos Stafford. She graduated from Ragsdale High School in 1989 and earned her Bachelors Degree from East Carolina University. She was employed with the U.S. Postal service. She was a member of Clifton Road Baptist Church.
Kristal was a loving daughter, mother and sister. We are saddened and will miss you greatly but we are thankful that God shared you with us for 37 years. Kristal your will and strength will keep us going through this difficult time. She never met a stranger and her personality was always an inspiration to all. Her smile was genuine and she enjoyed meeting people and making their day just a little brighter. She loved her sons and the time she spent with them. She loved animals, Elvis and NASCAR.
Surviving are her adored sons, Caison Amos Newton and his father, Kenny, Devin Stafford Vaughn and his father, Jason; her parents, Glenn and Glenda Stafford and her brother, Scott Michael Stafford and wife, Missy also survive, along with her maternal grandmother, Vivian Amos Hudson; and her very special friend, Darrell Bruce. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
