  David Stafford, age 42, of Spruce Pine, passed away on Sunday, June 5th, 2016 in McDowell County. A native of Mitchell County, he was a son of the late Guy and Exan Jo Huskins Stafford. David was a member of Pine Branch Baptist Church who enjoyed riding dirt bikes, fishing and hunting.  Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 12th at Pine Branch Baptist Church. Rev. Steve Williams and Rev. Bobby Greene will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 p.m. prior to the funeral serice at the church.  The family requests that you please help them continue to support and pray for Angie Wiseman.
