  Edna Stafford Duncan, age 81, of Lynn Drive in Spruce Pine went to her heavenly home to be with her loved ones on Friday, October 30, 2015 at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine. Born on September 29, 1934 in Mitchell County, she was the daughter of the late Doby, Sr. and Sallie Stafford. She was also preceded in death by her husband, I.M. Duncan, her son Roger K. Duncan, infant sister, Ruby Stafford, and brother, Doby Stafford, Jr. She was a member of Berry Chapel Church where she truly loved her church family. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, and also a special friend of anyone she met.  Left to cherish her memories are her daughter-in-law, Pamela S. Duncan. She was the aunt of Donna Thomas and husband, Michael, David Stafford and wife, Susan, and Danny Stafford and wife, Thelma.  Interment will follow in the Berry Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
