Softly in the morning you heard a gentle call, you took the hand God offered you and quietly left us all.....Priscilla Anne Campbell, 84, of West River Road, Nichols, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday morning, Sept. 13, 2014.
She was born on June 3, 1930 in Nichols. a daughter of Howard and Irene (Geiger) Goodwin. Priscilla was a graduate of the Nichols High School Class of 1948. On July 17, 1948, she married Charles B. Campbell and together they owned and operated a dairy farm in Nichols.
She was a member of the Nichols Presbyterian Church and the Nichols Ladies Auxiliary.
Priscilla is survived by her husband of 66 years, Charles B. Campbell, at home; her children, Sally (Charles) Dyer of Endicott, N.Y., Charlene (Dale) Lang of Auburn, N.Y., Paul (Carol Petty) Campbell of Nichols; her sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Hugh Bristol of Vestal; grandchildren, Kristena Rudolph, Patrick Stauder, Jennifer Fitzpatrick, Scott Shirley and Janette Mahunik; 10 great-grandchildren, two nieces and a nephew and her faithful canine companion, Sheena, also survive.
Abiding with her wishes, services will be held at the convenience of the family.
