Obituary:
Mrs. Marie D. Campbell (nee Stafford) in her 83rd year,passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord on Sunday, April 23, 2006, at Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care in London after a valiant struggle with Alzheimer Disease for 4 to 5 years. The last two and a half years were spent at Mount Hope where she received much tender loving care for which the family gives our heartfelt thanks. She lived in London, Ontario for her entire life with the exception of a few years in Belmont and St. Thomas, Ontario. She will be sadly missed by all her family after 70 years of happy family gatherings.Predeceased by her parents, Mr. D.A. Stafford and Mrs. E.A. Stafford, in 1967 and 1988. Survived by her husband John H. Campbell and three children, Mrs.Catharine Pike (Joseph) of Mississauga, Mrs. Patricia Bridges (Michael) of Scarborough and Peter Campbell (Mercy) of Pickering and four grandchildren Jonathan Pike, Mississauga, Julia Bridges, Scarborough and Nicholas Campbell and Naomi Campbell, Pickering. Friends may visit on Tuesday, April 25 between the hours of 2 and 4 p.m. and 7 and 9 p.m. at the James A. Harris Funeral Home,220 St. James Street at Richmond where the funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. by The Rev. Farquhar MacKinnon. .Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Contributions to the Canadian Bible Society, Alzheimer Society or the charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged.
