  Mildred S. Shoemaker, 90, of the Evergreen House, Jacksonville, died in Cayuga Medical Center. Born in Ithaca, she was a daughter of the late Cassius and Anna Marie Stafford. Mrs. Shoemaker worked for the City of Ithaca and Mayer’s Smoke Shop. She was survived by her nieces, Dorothy Fenner of Ithaca and Marie Waddell of Akron, Ohio; cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Jess C. Shoemaker. Burial, Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Information from: The Ithaca Journal January 13, 1998, page 4
