  Transcribed in part from "THE ITHACA JOURNAL" newspaper, Ithaca, NY, dated Friday, Feb. 24, 1978, page 4 by Find A Grave Volunteer #47382220. "Cortland - Iva C. Stevens, 89, of 125 Groton Ave., died Thursday, Feb 23, 1978 at the home of her daughter in the Town of Dryden. Mrs. Stevens was born Sept 4, 1888 in the Town of Virgil, daughter of Frank and Cynthia Stafford. She was the widow of Cleon Stevens. She was a member of the Homer Avenue United Methodist Church and a member of its Class 11. She was also a member of Cortland Senior Citizens and the Four Score Club. Mrs. Stevens is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Laura Woodward of Homer and Mrs. Cecil Goehner of Dryden; 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Services will be held at 1:30 Sunday at Homer Ave. United Methodist Church in Cortland with the Rev. Wiley While officiating. Interment will be in McGrawville Cemetery."
