Born in Baldwinsville, New York, Betty resided here in Syracuse all of her life. She was a graduate of Nottingham High School, class of 1936, and Central City Business Institute. Upon graduation she was a secretary in the Syracuse City school district, working primarily at Seymour and H.W. Smith Schools and retired in 1982. She was a communicant of St. Therese Little flower of Jesus Church. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth "Betsy" Naples (Allen) of Fayetteville, NY; two grandchildren, Jennifer (Ian) Cohen of California and Sarah Naples of Fayetteville.
