  Fern S. May, 83, of Manlius, passed away on Thursday. She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of the late Harry and Anna Stafford and graduated from Manlius High School. Fern was a member of Manlius United Methodist Church and Manlius Fire Department Women's Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence H. May, on April 13, 2009. Survivors: three sons, Lawrence H. May Jr. (Donna) of Jacksonville, FL, Donald L. May of Chittenango and David L. May of New Hartford; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial Services: 1 p.m. Monday at Manlius United Methodist Church. Burial to follow in Manlius Village Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the church, 111 Wesley Street, Manlius. Contributions: Manlius Fire Department Women's Auxiliary, 1 Stickley Dr., Manlius, NY 13104.
