  Stafford George L 1893 1928 STAFFORD — At Mercy hospital Aug 7 1928 George Stafford. World war veteran, aged 35 years. Funeral services Friday from the home of his sister. Mrs. Ansel Guyette. 102 Kendall avenue. Interment North Watertown Cemetery Aug 1928 Watertown Daily Times He died at Mercy hospital Tuesday afternoon following an operation for a sinus Infection. He was unmarried. Surviving are his father Alonso Stafford, of Gregg. N Y , and four sisters. Mrs. Ansel Guyett. Mrs William D Lagrow. Mrs Charles Hyle this city, and Mrs Eber Stye, Natural Bridge. A son of Alonso and Agnes O'Shea Stafford. Also of Note: at the time of his death was considerating a charge of Manslaughter against him in the death of a half brother Roy Fleming, George had been accused of wreckless driving.
