Potsdam, June 17. - The funeral for Mrs. Marguerite M. STAFFORD, 44, wife of James C. Stafford, 141 Leroy street, who died Tuesday night in Potsdam hospital following a brief illness will be at 9 a.m. Friday at the Soymour funeral home and at 9:30 at St. Mary's church. Burial will be at St. Mary' cemetery.
Besides her husband, Mrs. STAFFORD is survived by three children, James, 15; Anne Marie, 13, and Barbara, 7; her father Edgar MacDougall, Cornwall, Ont., four sisters, Mrs. Graham (Inez) Ronan, Phalidelphia, Pa., Mrs. Emerson (Grace) Elder, Prescott, Ont., Mrs. Charles (Marian) Lawn and Mrs. Donald (Mary) Chishoöm, both of Cornwall, Ont., and four brothers, Stuart MacDougall, Cornwall, Ont., Garnet MacDougall, Van Kleek Hill, Ont., George MacDougall, Cornwall, Ont., and Ronald MacDougall, Moncton, N.B.
Mrs. Stafford was born in Cornwall, Ont., March 13, 1921, a daughter of Edgar MacDougall and Bernadette Lawson MacDougall. She was graduated from Cornwall High school. On Aug. 28, 1943, she was married to James C. Stafford. The couple moved to Potsdam in 1947 where Mr. Stafford is assistant secretary of the Potdam offices of the Marine Midland Trust Company of Northern New York.
She was a member of St. Mary's church and its Altar and Rosary society.
