Joan S. Cotton, 82, of Top Notch Road, Little Falls, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015, at the Alpine Nursing and Rehab. Center, Little Falls, where she had been a resident since May of 2015. She was born on February 24, 1933, in Little Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Donald and Wilhelmina (Gronosky) Stafford. She was a graduate of St. Mary's Academy, Class of 1950. She was united in marriage to her husband of 63 years, Ralph H. Cotton, on August 4, 1951, at St. Mary's Church, Little Falls. Mrs. Cotton was a member of the Holy Family Parish Church, Little Falls, as well as a member of the Eatonville Secret Pal Club. Mrs. Cotton was employed as a customer service representative for the former Herkimer County Trust Co., Little Falls, retiring after 26 years of service. She was also employed, at one time, by the former Little Falls 5 & 10, the Triangle Shoe Store and the Allegro Shoe Co., all of Little Falls. She also served as the Town of Little Falls Registrar of Vital Statistics for over 50 years. She is survived by her husband, Ralph; her daughter and her husband; her four sons; her two sisters; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins...
