  Note: Memorial entered per obituary. Melissa Stafford Eaton, 89, of Pearisburg, died Monday, August 14, 1995. Mrs. Eaton was born on November 18, 1905 in Pearisburg, Va., and was a daughter of the late Frank E. and Effie Thompson Stafford and was also preceded in death by her husband Dan Eaton. Mrs. Eaton taught in the Giles County School Systems, was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pearisburg, the Paris Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, Honorary member of the Pearisburg Womens Club and the A.A.R.P. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Donald and Frankie Wilson, Pearisburg; one brother, John Frank Stafford, Narrows; three grandchildren, Melissa Obenhaus, Danny and Steve Wilson; and two great-grandchildren, Josh and Wil Obenhaus.
