  TICONDEROGA - J. Patrick Carney, 72, of Baldwin Road, Ticonderoga, died Monday at his home. A prominent local businessman, he was the owner for 41 years of Carney's Appliance Store on Montcalm Street, Ticonderoga. He was born May 20, 1907, the son of Patrick John and Annie (Joyce) Carney.  He is survived by his wife Agnes, two sons, Patrick J. Carney of Ticonderoga and Robert Carney of Illinois, four daughters, two sisters, Mrs. Joyce Crowley of Ticonderoga and Mrs. Marion Hayes of Burlington, Vt., and six grandchildren.  Arrangements by the Connery and Sons Funeral Home in Ticonderoga.  Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Church, Ticonderoga.  Burial will be at a later date in Valley View Cemetery
