Services for Earl B. ''Bucky'' Stafford, 58, of 105 Weaverdale Lane, Minoa, who died Monday at his home, will be at 8:30 a.m. Friday at Daly Funeral Home and 9 a.m. in St. Luke's Church, both in Schenectady. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Schenectady.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 242 McClellan St.
A native of Schenectady, Mr. Stafford lived in Minoa about 10 years. He retired as a corporate credit manager after more than 30 years with Dairylea Cooperative. He previously was an office manager and auditor of memberships and payment for the company at several of its offices throughout the state. Mr. Stafford was a graduate of St. Columba High School in Schenectady and the Albany Business College.
Mr. Stafford was a member of the Schenectady Commandry 100 of the Knights of St. John, where he served as a noble exaultant 5th Degree of the Holy Cross, and a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus in Syracuse. He served on the board of directors of the Syracuse Creditors Association and contributed articles to the national association's membership magazine. He was a Navy veteran.
Surviving are his wife, the former Ellen Cowell; a son, Earl B. Jr. of Boston; a sister, Sarah Cacciossi of Chicopee, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews.
