- Obtained BA degree in 1950 from University of California at Santa Barbara,
and MSEE degree in 1965 from California State College, Long Beach. Worked
for the Central Ohio Light and Power Co., 1934-1945; U.S. Navy 1945-46 and
1948-49; as electronic engineer with Norvin, Inc., 1948-50; general
engineer with U.S. Navy, 1950-? (as of 1969). Was a member of the U.S.
Naval Reserve, attached to Naval Air Station, Los Alamitos, CA, to rank of
Commander. Was a member of Institute of Electrical and Electronic
Engineers (IEEE), American Ordnance Society, Society of American Military
Engineers, Navy League of the U.S., and Board of U.S. Civil Service
Examiners for Scientists and Engineers. Was listed in: Roster of
Scientists and Engineers in Federal Service, 1958; American Men of
Science, 10th Ed., 1959; National Register of Scientific and Technical
Personnel, 1960; Marquis Who's Who in the West, 9th Ed.,1963; Royal Blue
