SUE ADKINS
(1943-2018)
Mrs. Sue Ann Stafford Adkins, age 74, of Dayton, Ohio, formerly Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday evening, January 16, 2018, at Hospice of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio.
She was born May 27, 1943, in Olive Hill, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Harry Edward and Althea Lenora Burchett Stafford.
Sue was of the Christian faith and was a homemaker. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, traveling, and being with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, John Kiser.
Sue is survived by her husband of 34 years, William “Bill” Adkins; four sons and daughters-in-law, David and Lisa Kiser, Kevin and Brenda Kiser, Mitch and Becky Adkins, and Ryan and Amber Adkins; 10 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one brother, Micheal and Sue Stafford. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 21, 2018, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky with Brother David Rayburn and Brother Terry Dean officiating. Burial will follow in the Garvin Ridge Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018, and after 9 a.m. on Sunday at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West Highway US 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.
Mitchell Kiser, Cody Kiser, Nathan Kiser, Ryan Adkins, Macgyver Dennis, Tim Hughes, Mark Tackett, and Brent Tackett will serve as pallbearers.
