  Mary Lou Hooser, 82, of Lubbock passed away February 14, 2018. A service will be held Saturday, February 17, 2018, 2:00PM at Oakwood Baptist Church with burial following at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park. Mary Lou was born October 23, 1935 in Idalou, TX to David Lee Stafford and Edna Jewel Fowler. Mary Lou married Virgil Lee Hooser on May 3, 1954 in Clovis, NM. She managed the Houseware Department at Montgomery Ward for many years. She was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church. Mary Lou is survived by son, Steven Wayne Hooser and spouse Sherry Nell, daughter, Vickie Lee Hooser Williams. She was the greatest MeeMa to grandchildren, Jonathan Ross Hooser, Dr. Tiffany Lee Hoskins, Stephanie Nichole Thomas, and Thomas Lee Williams IV; great-grandchildren, Baker, Preston, Joseph, Joshua, Emily, Jackson, Penn and Lucas. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil; and 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
