  Blackwell, James Andrew "Drew", 81, died Sunday, January 18, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Drakesboro, KY, July 7, 1933, the son of the late Thomas and Mabel Jackson Blackwell. Drew had worked at General Electric and had also been co-owner of Quality Electric Motor Services. He was a 22 year member of Walnut Street Baptist Church, a U.S. Army veteran and was involved with many community services. Besides his wife of 21 years he is survived by his four children, a sister, 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers. A service celebrating Drew's life will be held 1p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East, 11601 Ballardsville Road. Visitation will be from noon until service time on Saturday. Memorials are suggested to the Walnut Street Baptist Church Missionary's Residence.
