  Fern Floyd Stafford, 87, of Stanford, KY passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017 at Casey County Hospital in Liberty, KY. Born August 7, 1930 in Kings Mountain, KY to the late Everett and Lona Foley Floyd, she was the widow of the late William “Billy” Stafford. She was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church and attended Stanford Baptist Church. Survivors include her sisters, Evelyn Carman of Yosemite, KY and Gwendolyn Helm (James) of Liberty, KY; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Floyd. A one day service has been scheduled for Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel, Stanford. Visitation will be from 10am-12pm with funeral service beginning at 12pm. Rev Gary King will officiate the service. Burial in Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford.
