Charles D. Stafford, 73, of Lafayette, TN died Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN. The Scottsville, KY was a retired employee of Pave Pro and former employee of the City of Lawrence. He was a son of the late Elzie D. Stafford and Evie Earline Blankenship Stafford and husband of the late Patsy Gail Huntsman Stafford.
He is survived by 1 son: Timothy R. Stafford and fiancee', Tabatha Jeffrey, Indianapolis, IN; 1 daughter: Anita Hill and husband, Daryl, Lafayette, TN; 1 step son: James Stacy Huntsman, Lafayette, TN; 2 brothers: Lewis Stafford and wife, Betty, and Ernie Stafford and wife, Amy, all of Scottsville, KY; 2 sisters: Kathryn Graves, Lafayette, TN and Barbara Brooking and husband, "Sonny", Adolphus, KY; 3 grandchildren: Nicole Palmer, Heather Hightower and Ashley Sliger; 7 great grandchildren: John, GraceAnn, Angel, Jessa, Leevi, Cariline and Josie Kay; 3 step great grandchildren: Mallory, Gracie and Jacob; Several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Kathy Palmer; 2 sisters: Wilma Stafford and Nina Stafford.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. David Spears officiating and burial in Robert's Tabernacle Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday; 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and after 7 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Goad Funeral Home. www.goadfh.com
