  Daily Post Athenian Mar 14, 2011 Millie Stafford Millie Edna Owens Stafford, 55, of Athens, died Friday, March 11, 2011, at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. A native of Hamilton, Ohio, and a longtime resident of McMinn County, she was a daughter of the late Plaise and Dana Mae Jones Owens, and was preceded in death by one sister, Debbie Horn. Survivors include her husband, Earl Stafford of Athens; one daughter, Elizabeth Danielle Reese of Athens; three grandchildren, Rosea, Katelynn and Regina Perez; four sisters and one brother-in-law, Connie Crowder, Sandy Burnett, Lisa Stewart and Janice Hill and Greg Peters, all of Athens; one brother and sister-in-law, William and Cynthia Owens of Niota; her mother-in-law, Mary Jo Stafford of Athens; and several nieces and nephews.
