  Services for Mrs. Alice Imogene Bobbitt Stafford, 96, Vidalia, formerly of Grayson, were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 14, 1990 at the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Richard Lisk officiating. Burial was in Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Mrs. Stafford died Friday, July 13, at her residence after an extended illness. Mrs. Stafford was born August 21, 1893 in Piedmont, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late James Thomas Bobbitt and the late Lula Edna Cowden Bobbitt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Stafford and daughter, Maxine Stafford Turner. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Vidalia. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Travis Gore of Vidalia; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
