Services for Elizabeth Jane Turner Stafford, 61, Canton, were held at 4 p.m. Thursday, June 29, at Eubank Funeral Home Chapel, Canton, with Rev. Bill Lane and Rev. Terry Adair officiating. Burial was in Haven of Memories Memorial Park. Mrs. Stafford died June 27, 2000, at her residence.
She was born March 5, 1939, in Dallas to the late Burton Grey and Mary Louise McCoy Turner. She grew up in Dallas and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. She was co-owner of Bob's Town and Country for 25 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church Canton.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Jarrell Stafford, Canton; son and daughter-in-law, Michael Patrick and Lisa Stafford, Canton; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa Jane and Craig Rogers, Canton; grandchildren, Emily DeAnn Stafford, Eric Michael Stafford, Ethan Janes Stafford, Margaret Marie Rogers, Melanie Nicole Rogers and Bobbi Danette Rogers, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clarence James and Gladys Marie Stafford, Duncanville; and several cousins.
Pallbearers included Rickey Ragle, Fred Semore, Tracy Clark, George Goldsberry, Bill Phillips, John Turner II, Billy Phillips and Mike Martin.
