Wesley B. Stafford, 33, of Memphis and Selmer, TN, was killed early yesterday when he lost control of his car on Raliegh-LaGrange Road near Rockridge and it overturned.
Police said he was westbound at a high rate of speed shortly after midnight when his car issed a curve, went into a ditch and overturned. A witness helped pull Steve Stafford, 28, the victim's brother, from the car. Wesley was thrown from the car and pinned beneath it. He was taken to Methodist Hospital North where he died.
Wesley was a musician and a painter.
Burial in Forest Hill East Cemetery.
He also leaves a son, Wesley Shane Stafford of Nashville, his mother, Mrs. Marion Turner Stafford and another brother, Chris Stafford, all of Selmer, and a grandmother, Mrs. Susie Stafford of Memphis.
