Ruth Stafford Fulgham, 86, passed away on March 20, 2013 at her residence in Maben, MS. She was a retired cafeteria server at Starkville Academy and a member of Center Grove Baptist Church and The Eastern Star. She loved gardening, fishing, quilting and spent many hours with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and attended many of their sporting events.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Howard Fulgham, Sr.; parents, John Stafford and Lula Blake Stafford; sisters, Annie Lee Pumphrey and Betty Pinnix; and brother, Gene Stafford.
She is survived by her daughters, Martha Fulgham McMinn (Ronny) of Maben, MS and Lorene Fulgham Cox (Bobby) of Maben, MS; sons, Curtis Fulgham (Judy) of Starkville, MS and Howard Fulgham, Jr. (Paula) of Ash Flat, AR; sisters, Lois Davis of Oxnard, CA, Mary Williams of Arley, AL, and Amelia Prescott of West Point, MS; brother, James M. Stafford of Oxford, MS; grandchildren, Greg Fulgham, Alan Fulgham, Joey Fulgham, Scot McMinn, Chris McMinn, Rod McMinn, Amber McKenzie, Bryan Fulgham, Kasey Fulgham, Will Cox, John Cox, & Ruth Ann Hillhouse; and 22 great grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Center Grove Baptist Church in Maben, MS, with the funeral service immediately following at the church. Rev. Joel Hudson and Rev. Bobby Parrish will conduct the service. Burial will be in Center Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
