  Arthur S. Stafford, 87, of Lakeland, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2013. Mr. Stafford was preceded in death by his brother, Eugene Stafford. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Evelyn Stafford, his sons, Phillip A. Stafford, Robert M. Stafford, and Charles B. Stafford, his grandchildren, Mathew, Graham, and Stephen Stafford, and great-grandchildren, Aidan, Emma Lacey, Sydney, and Savannah Stafford, and three siblings, Alene Darnell, William Stafford, and Shirley Wade. Mr. Stafford was a WWII Navy Veteran, member of the First Baptist Church of Lakeland, and a 32nd Degree Mason. He also loved playing golf with his wife in the West Tenn. Seniors Golf Association. Memorial Contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Lakeland. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 7 from 12-2pm with a funeral starting at 2pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Information from Dignity Memorial Services.
