SOMERVILLE - Walter M. Atkeison, 64, retired supervisor for State of Tennessee, died Saturday at Somerville Health Care Center after a long illness. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church in Somerville, where he was a member, with burial at 2 p.m. at Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery near Halls. Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel has charge. He was a World War II Army veteran. Mr. Atkeison, the husband of Josephine 'Jo' White Atkeison, also leaves two daughters, Jamie Atkeison and Pabla Taylor, both of Somerville; a son, David B. Holder of Memphis; five brothers, George Atkeison, Herbert Atkeison and Alf Atkeison, all of Somerville, Ralph Atkeison of Oakland, Tenn., and Glen Atkeison of Benton, Ark., four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
