Died Friday, March 27, 1987, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. He was 83, a native of Bells, Tenn., and resident of Port Allen. He was a retired construction superintendent. Visiting at Hollabaugh-Spindle Wooddale Memorial Chapel, noon until religious services at 3 p.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Ronnie Sibley. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by wife, Emma Hays Buford, Port Allen; two sons, Jerry Buford, Port Allen, and Darold Buford, Longwood, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs.Ida May Waldron, Tunica, Miss., and Louise Vincent, Bluffs, Ill.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents and a brother. He was a member of First Methodist Church.
