Martha Louise Stafford Adams
Brentwood, TN
Martha received her eternal reward on Sunday morning, the 16th of February, 2014.
She leaves behind her beloved husband of 66 years, Ira T. Adams; sons, Steve (Jeanine) Adams, Larry (Kellene) Adams, Don (Lynne) Adams, and Alan (Janie) Adams. Her sister, Elizabeth Stafford (Robert) Kerce survives her, as well as ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She had many roles in life: devoted wife, loving mother, loyal friend, artist, architect, businesswoman, and faithful servant.
Martha was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ. For many years, she would assist her husband as he ministered to rural churches, such as Cheap Hill, Philippi, Rock Hill, Dilton, New Zion, and many others. She dutifully brought along their four boys as they faithfully traveled from Nashville to far flung small churches.
She was a friend to all, and her warm smile and laughter will be missed by all.
Interment to be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Grandsons to serve as Pallbearers.
