Verna Lee Morris Richmond
Verna Lee Morris Richmond, 98, of Dresden, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at Weakley County Rehab and Nursing Center.
Services were held 11 a.m. Monday at Bowlin Funeral Home, with Dr. Don McCulley and Dr. Trent Bullock officiating. Burial was in East Side Cemetery in Martin.
Marshall Anderson, Ricky Finney, Tommy Moore, Bob Simmons, Dennis Moon and Roger Tibbs served as pallbearers.
Mrs. Richmond was born in Gleason, daughter of the late William H. and Fannie Smith. She was the widow of Tom Morris and Russell Richmond, and a member of First Baptist Church, Dresden.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Emogia Clark and Imogene Winstead; and one brother, Berlie Smith.

Funeral services for Mrs. Richmond were held Monday, January 28, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel in Dresden. Burial followed in Eastside Cemetery in Martin. Dr. Don McCulley and Dr. Trent Bullock officiated the services.
Mrs. Richmond was a housewife and a member of the First Baptist Church in Dresden. She was born in Gleason to the late William H. and Fannie Smith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Richmond was also preceded in death by two husbands, Mr. Tom Morris and Mr. Russell Richmond; two sisters, Emogia Clark and Imogene Winstead; and a brother, Berlie Smith.
Mrs. Richmond is survived by several nieces and nephews.
