  Mrs. Pansy McClain Stafford died December 28 in Los Angeles after a long illness. She was a bookkeeper for Standard Oil Company of Los Angeles. She was 58. The body was returned for services Saturday at the Old Bethel Baptist Church by Bro. Howard Miller. Burial was in the McGuire cemetery with Bowlin Funeral Home in charge. The late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lawrence McClain were parents of Mrs. Stafford. She leaves two brothers, W. I. "Bud" McClain, Palmersville and Bee McClain, Union City and one sister, Mrs. Evie Frields, Los Angeles.
