Thomas Frank McElyea, 55, of Savannah, TN, formerly of West Frankfort, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2009. He was born Tuesday, May 25, 1954 to W.H. (Griz) McElyea and Frieda Walton McElyea. Thomas is survived by his son: Ricky McElyea of Louisiana; daughter: Trina Wilson of Tennessee; and sisters: Pam Morris of Joliet, IL and Mona Colyer of West Frankfort. He was preceded in death by his wife: Kathy Stafford McElyea; father W. H. (Griz) McElyea; and mother: Frieda Walton McElyea. Funeral Services were held at 3 p.m. Thusday, July 30, 2009 at Shackelford Chapel with Jack Stafford officiating. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Tennessee were in charge of arrangements.
