  Funeral services for Mr. Luke L. Scott, 74, of Livingston, were conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 6, 2003, from the chapel of Anderson Funeral Home in Gainesboro. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery in Jackson County with Bro. Comer McGuire officiating. Mr. Scott died Monday, November 3 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was a farmer and a member of Oak Hill United Methodist Church in Rickman. Born June 7, 1929, in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Faye and Fannie Mae (Moss) Scott. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles Carmack, George Warren, Edward Scott, and Winters Scott; and four sisters, Mamie Scott, Edna Lockhart, Opal Lockhart, and Nannie Scott. Survivors include a son, Rickey Scott of Cookeville; a daughter, Rebecca Phipps and her husband, Gary, of Rickman; four brothers, Elmer Scott, Billy Scott, George Scott, and John Scott; two sisters, Bonnie Scott and Thelma Rogers; two grandchildren, Joshua Scott and Kevin Brown; and three great grandchildren, Kayla Scott, Joshua Brown, and Sierra Brown.
