  Patricia Ann Smith, 32, was killed in a Brentwood convenience store in an apparent hold-up attempt in Nashville where she was working. She was the daughter of Jo Sloan of Pleasant Shade and Ernest Smith of Red Boiling Springs. She was a 1973 graduate of Red Boiling Springs High School. According to relatives, Miss Smith was apparently working at the convenience store to earn extra money for Christmas. Provided by contributor Mary Hudson.
