  Willie D. Pigg, 84, of Crossville, passed away Aug. 29, 2000. Funeral services were conducted Sept. 1 from the chapel of Crossville Memorial Funeral Home, with burial in Crossville City Cemetery. Paul Lee officiated. Mr. Pigg was born March 20, 1916, in Gainesboro, TN, the son of Josh and Harriett Pigg. He was a construction worker. Survivors include his wife, Ova Lee Pigg of Crossville; sons, Lewis Pigg and Billy Pigg, both of Crossville; daughters, Ella Mae Allen of Sparta, TN, and Gracie Dennis and Elsie Galloway, both of Crossville; sister, Elizabeth Barlow of Gainesboro; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Josh and Harriett Pigg; daughters, Betty Ray Pigg and Bessie L. Rausch Pigg; brothers, Walter Pigg, Ernest Pigg, Jessie Pigg and Charlie Pigg; sisters, Ruby Scott Pigg and Alta Knight Pigg. Pallbearers were Glen Taylor, David Parsons, Chris Nash, Tim Fields, Richard Dennis and Gene Barlow. Crossville Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
