  COOKEVILLE Funeral services for Mark York Stafford, 63, of Cookeville will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 1, from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-9 p.m. today, Wednesday, June 30. Mr. Stafford died Tuesday, June 29, 2004, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born on June 6, 1941, in Gainesboro to the late Harold and Anna Lee Heady Stafford. He worked at the Jackson County Hospital in Gainesboro for 23 years and as a lab technician at Cookeville Regional Medical Center for 15 years. His family includes his wife of more than 40 years, Rachel Mathis Stafford; two daughters, Robin Roe of Brentwood and Cristy Nixon of Lebanon; a son, Matthew Stafford of Cookeville; two brothers, James Harold Stafford of Baxter and Richard Stafford of Gainesboro; a sister, Jan Ramsey of Baxter and four grandchildren, Chris, Isabella, Sarah and Rob. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Flatt.
